While news of Samsung’s upcoming iteration of its Galaxy S flagship has been flying around, it has overshadowed the recent official announcement of four new Android smartphones from the Korean giant.
Though most of them are already available in Russia, the four newest phones of the Galaxy family will soon all make their way to Europe, India and China. Interestingly, none of these devices have yet to get their U.S. release dates, and probably won't.
Detailed specifications of the four Froyo phones – the Galaxy Ace, Fit, Gio, and Mini – can be found below. Looking at them without their prices, one can’t help but get the feeling that Samsung is looking to replace its aging Samsung Galaxy 5 andGalaxy 3 low-end smartphones in the form of the Fit and the Mini, while the Ace and Gio are probably meant to take on theLG Optimus One P500 and Motorola’s mid-range Android offerings, inlcuding the Defy.
